Winter

Winter is a quick two-player abstract game about claiming a frozen lake before the thaw. In the freezing phase, players build the lake together with their snowflake cards, keeping it in one connected piece, and place chips to secure zones where they have grouped four snowflakes of their color. In the unfreezing phase they undo the lake, moving and taking back their cards and chips as the ice melts. Choosing key spaces before your rival does is everything, and the player with the most chips left on the table wins. Designed by María Blasco and Enrique Blasco, this reissue of their 2016 game brings all-new mechanics. Available now at Boarding School Games - claim the frozen lake.
