Processing times
- In-stock items: usually ship same day or next business day.
- Used items: require re-certification for completeness/playability before shipping and may take extra handling time.
- Preorders / Special Orders / Reservations: ship when product reaches us and is ready to fulfill (see FAQs/Terms).
Carriers & tracking
We primarily use major carriers with full tracking. You’ll receive tracking by email once your label is created.
Combining orders
Want to add to an order? Just place another order—if both are fully in stock (or expected shortly), we’ll automatically hold and combine and refund any excess shipping.
Orders with transfer or special-order items
- If an order contains in-stock items and awaiting transfer items (expected within ~2 weeks), we’ll hold briefly and ship together when practical.
- If Special-Order/Reservation items are not imminent, we’ll split the order. When some items arrive, you can choose:
- Attach to a new order at the same shipping class with no new shipping charge, or
- Pay a $6.19 shipping origination to send the available items now using your already-paid shipping portion.
Address accuracy & delivery
- Please confirm your shipping address at checkout. Incorrect addresses may delay delivery and can incur correction or reship charges.
- Signature requirements may be added at our discretion for higher-value shipments.
- Order review for higher-risk shipments: We may hold, verify, or adjust shipment handling for unusually large-quantity or high-value orders, orders flagged for fraud/policy abuse risk, or shipments requiring signature/insurance.
Risk of loss
Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier picks up the package. If something looks lost or is marked delivered but missing, contact us promptly so we can help troubleshoot with the carrier.
Damage & loss claims
- If an item arrives damaged in transit, email clear photos of the item, the shipping box, and the label within 7 days of delivery.
- We’ll assist with a resolution. Shipping charges are non-refundable except in the case of carrier-confirmed loss.
Transit Damage vs. Internal Factory Defects
Transit damage is handled separately from missing, mispacked, or factory-defective internal components in a sealed product.
If your shipment arrives with external transit damage, email us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos of the item, shipping box, and shipping label so we can assist with the shipping-side issue.
If a factory-sealed game is opened and found to have missing components, mispacked contents, or factory-defective internal parts, that issue is handled under our Refund & Returns Policy. Boarding School Games does not provide replacement parts or accept opened-product returns, refunds, or exchanges for internal component issues. Customers should contact the publisher or manufacturer directly for any available component replacement or warranty support. Publisher policies vary, and some support programs may be limited to purchases made through authorized channels.
International shipping
- We ship worldwide where permitted. Duties, taxes, and import fees are the customer’s responsibility (DDU/Delivered Duties Unpaid).
- Transit times and tracking detail vary by destination and carrier.
Preorders, Special Orders & Reservations (Partial Pay)
- Some items require payment with ZBag or a Reservation Deposit to hold your place in line.
- For reservations, the final price is set at fulfillment based on our pricing at that time (the deposit is not a price lock). Shipping is billed on the final invoice.
Returns & refunds
Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for details, including the 24-hour cancellation window for most orders, the manual-review exception for unusually large/high-risk orders, and the 24-hour refund window for unredeemed ZBag and gift cards.
