How ZBag Works: Rewards, Spending & Gifting
Your ZBag keeps credit and rewards ready for your next visit to Boarding School Games. You can load it yourself, earn credit through our rebate program, and use your available balance on later purchases. You can also turn ZBag credit into a gift card for someone else.
The key is understanding two separate rewards: the NiceList gift rebate for eligible customers and the ZBag spending rebate for using ZBag credit.
Who can use ZBag?
Our products are for end users and personal gifting; we are not a wholesale or resale supplier. ZBag is for individuals buying for personal or household use or giving personal gifts. Businesses, resellers and people buying on their behalf may not load, earn or spend ZBag for business or commercial purposes, including inventory, resale, business operations or corporate purchases.
Using a personal account, another person or a gift-card conversion does not bypass this restriction. Owning or working for a business does not prevent you from using ZBag for your own personal purchases. Business use may result in loss of ZBag eligibility and forfeiture at our discretion, to the extent legally permitted; see forfeiture.
Two ways to earn
1. The NiceList gift rebate: 5% on eligible products
Eligible NiceList customers earn a gift rebate equal to 5% of their eligible product subtotal. The rebate goes into their ZBag, regardless of how they pay for the purchase. That includes payment by credit card, Shopify gift card, Shopify store credit, ZBag, or a combination of accepted payment methods.
You do not have to buy ZBag credit first to earn this benefit. New eligible customers begin with the current 5% NiceList gift benefit, the same rate that established NiceList customers receive.
2. The ZBag spending rebate: 5% of the ZBag you use
When you use ZBag on an eligible purchase, you earn a separate rebate equal to 5% of the ZBag amount actually used. This applies to purchased ZBag, previously earned rebates, and credit added to ZBag through an approved refund or adjustment.
If you are also eligible for the NiceList gift rebate, you can earn both rewards on the same merchandise purchase. Paying the full eligible product subtotal with ZBag can therefore earn a combined 10% back in ZBag for a later order.
These are future-use rewards. They do not reduce the amount due on the order that earns them, and earned rebates cannot be redeemed for cash.
What does that look like on a $100 purchase?
These examples assume a NiceList-eligible customer, $100 of eligible merchandise, and no other discounts. Shipping and taxes are outside the product subtotal used in these examples.

If you are not eligible for the NiceList gift benefit, you can still earn the 5% ZBag spending rebate on eligible ZBag spending. Paying with a gift card does not count as spending ZBag.
When can I use my rewards?
Rebates are deposited into your ZBag seven days after purchase. The waiting period makes them a reward for a later order: the rebate from today's purchase cannot pay for that same purchase.
Buying ZBag credit works differently from earning a rebate. Purchased credit is added immediately after the ZBag loading purchase is successfully paid, so you can use it to place your merchandise order. Loading your wallet gives you the credit you purchased; the loading transaction itself does not earn an extra rebate.
Rewards remain tied to the order that earned them. Order changes, cancellations, and refunds can revise or remove those rewards, as explained below.
Spending your ZBag
Sign in to the customer account associated with your ZBag and apply available credit when shopping. At checkout, ZBag reduces the amount charged for eligible items. It can be used for merchandise, Rush My Order, and Boarding School Games gift cards.
ZBag does not directly pay shipping. Shipping is charged separately. Rush processing is an item you can buy with ZBag; it does not change your shipping service, and the existing Rush conditions still apply. Rush earns the ZBag spending rebate when paid with ZBag, but it does not earn the separate NiceList gift rebate.
ZBag, Shopify store credit, and Shopify gift cards are separate balances. A balance in one does not automatically appear in either of the others. Buying a gift card with ZBag is one supported way to change how you can use that value.
Give your ZBag value as a gift
You can save your ZBag and use it to buy a Boarding School Games gift card. Give that card to someone else, and they can choose their own games. Direct transfers from one person's ZBag wallet to another person's wallet are not supported.
Buying a gift card does not earn either rebate. The gift recipient's later merchandise purchase is a separate transaction. If the recipient is eligible for the NiceList gift benefit, that purchase earns their own 5% rebate in their own ZBag, even though they paid with a gift card.
For example, you use $100 of ZBag to buy a $100 gift card. No rebate is earned on that conversion. The recipient uses the card to buy $100 of eligible merchandise and earns $5 in their own ZBag seven days later, provided they qualify for the NiceList benefit and the order remains eligible.
Gift cards can pay for both merchandise and shipping. You may also use a gift card purchased with your own ZBag to cover shipping on an order. That is an allowed use of the program.
Gift cards cannot currently be used to purchase ZBag credit or memberships. Keep any gift-card balance you want to use for shipping on the gift card, because ZBag cannot directly pay shipping.
What is the NiceList?
The NiceList gift rebate is our way of recognizing customers who are pleasant to serve and follow our store policies. New eligible customers receive the current 5% benefit from the start. You do not need to send us messages or cultivate a special relationship: simply placing orders and following the rules is welcome.
Continued eligibility depends on respectful conduct and following our policies. We may remove the NiceList gift benefit when a customer's conduct does not meet those expectations. That loss alone affects the gift rebate; it does not remove an existing balance or the separate ZBag spending rebate on otherwise eligible purchases. ZBag eligibility and the forfeiture rules below apply separately.
Permission to shop is a separate matter. Under our store policy, a chargeback results in a ban on future purchases. Opening another account to evade a ban is prohibited. See our Terms of Service for account and conduct rules.
Purchases, refunds, and rebate adjustments
Rebates reward qualifying purchases that remain valid. If an order is cancelled or refunded, its ZBag spending rebate is removed. Its NiceList gift rebate is adjusted or removed to reflect the order changes. This applies regardless of which payment or credit balance receives the refund.
If an approved refund includes value originally paid with ZBag, that value returns to ZBag. Other approved refunds follow our Refund Policy; Shopify store credit and discretionary ZBag refunds are distinct options. The rebate program does not create a separate right to return or cancel an order.
Purchasing gift cards, purchasing memberships, and loading ZBag are excluded from earning rebates. Buying merchandise with a gift card is different: eligible NiceList customers still earn their gift rebate on that merchandise. Do my credits expire?
ZBag and Boarding School Games gift cards have no dormancy fees or expiration dates. Under the circumstances described in our policies, such as extended account inactivity or a program change, we may convert a ZBag balance to an equal-value Boarding School Games digital gift card. That conversion preserves its face value, although gift cards and ZBag have different payment and rebate features.
These protections apply to balances that are not lawfully forfeited under the rules below. Purchased value and earned promotional value have different legal and refund treatment. Please read the Terms of Service and Refund Policy for the full conditions.
Can the program change?
We may change rebate rates, eligibility, qualifying purchases, waiting periods and other ZBag policies, or discontinue the program, at any time for future transactions, subject to applicable law and any required notice. Updated terms will state their effective date.
A program change will not reduce the face value of valid ZBag you already purchased or earned. Valid rebates waiting for their seven-day posting keep the rates and terms that applied when you made the qualifying purchase. We may preserve remaining value through an equal-value BSG gift card under our conversion rules. Normal spending, refunds, order changes and correction of incorrectly issued credit still apply, as do the lawful forfeiture provisions below.
When can ZBag be forfeited?
Purchase bans and exploitation: To the extent permitted by applicable law, a purchase ban or confirmed exploitation of ZBag results in forfeiture of remaining ZBag, including earned rewards and pending rebates.
Business use: Business use is prohibited. At our discretion, it may result in removal of ZBag eligibility and forfeiture of remaining ZBag, to the extent legally permitted. Business use does not automatically impose a purchase ban.
Purchased value: Purchased ZBag is forfeited only where legally permitted. Any purchased value that cannot lawfully be forfeited will be handled as applicable law requires. Losing NiceList status alone, or ordinary account closure without a forfeiture ground, does not forfeit your balance.
Exploitation includes deliberately using system errors, duplicate credits, prohibited rebate-generating conversions or ban evasion to obtain benefits contrary to our published rules. Approved personal gifting, buying a gift card with ZBag for your own shipping, and an account restart by a customer who is not banned are not, by themselves, exploitation.
