The Lie

The Lie is a quick card game in which every card lies, because flipping it over changes either its color or its number. Cards run from 1 to 4 in four colors, and in each round everyone grabs cards from the center at the same time to build a 12-card hand without knowing what they are really taking. Cards stay in the order they were taken and cannot be rearranged, so where each one lands matters. Players then play a single card or a group of two or three adjacent cards of the same color, each play forming a higher number than the last, or pass. Whoever runs out of cards first wins the round, and after three rounds the highest score takes the game. Available now at Boarding School Games - call out the liars.
