Players begin aboard the Enterprise before Captain Pike and Spock assign them to discover who built the ship codenamed Mary Celeste and what happened to its crew. The investigation unfolds across three sequences filled with puzzles involving communications, alien language translation, ship systems, navigation, and rescue operations. An augmented reality digital assistant works with the included Enterprise Cadet AR Badge to support the mission. Blueprints, story cards, exploration tiles, logs, and other documents provide clues as players work to restore the ship and uncover its fate.
