Root - The Marauder Expansion is a board game expansion that adds new factions, hirelings, and fresh setup options to make the Woodland more aggressive and dynamic.

This expansion introduces two new factions to Root: the Lord of the Hundreds and the Keepers in Iron, each with its own style of conquest, pressure, and battlefield control. It also adds four hirelings that can shift alliances and create new tactical possibilities across the map, giving each session more variety and tension. The new setup draft supports both casual and competitive play, making it easier to build interesting matchups and sharper faction combinations.

Designed for 2–6 players, Root - The Marauder Expansion plays in about 60–90 minutes and is recommended for ages 10 and up. A copy of Root the board game is required to play. Available now at Boarding School Games—reshape the Woodland conflict.
