Root - Riverfolk Hirelings is an expansion pack that adds six Riverfolk-themed hirelings to shake up your next trip into the Woodland.

Hirelings can be added to games at any player count, bringing extra pieces and pressure to the map in smaller games and opening up alternate abilities in larger ones. This pack introduces three hireling pairs—Riverfolk Flotilla and Otter Divers, Warm Sun Prophets and Lizard Envoys, and Highway Bandits and Bandit Gangs—so you can tailor the board state and decision space without changing Root’s core flow. Mix them in to create new alliances, new threats, and new tactical puzzles from the very first round. A copy of Root is required to play.
