Root

Root is a standalone asymmetric strategy board game that turns a woodland uprising into a tense contest for control.

Players lead rival forest factions with sharply different goals, tools, and paths to victory. The Marquise de Cat tries to industrialize and police the woodland, the Eyrie Dynasties seek to reclaim their former rule, the Woodland Alliance spreads revolt from the shadows, and the Vagabond moves alone through the conflict. Each faction plays by its own rhythm, creating a tactical game of timing, table pressure, shifting alliances, and opportunistic battles.
