Rheinländer

Rheinländer is a Reiner Knizia board game in which players are dukes trying to establish duchies along the banks of the Rhine. Players hold cards that match numbered plots on each river bank and place knights in open plots for which they hold the matching cards. Once a duchy is founded, you work to expand it to more plots of land and to buildings such as castles, cathedrals and cities. Buildings add to a duchy's value and give their owners advantages during play. The game ends when a player has no knights left at the end of a turn, and the highest score wins.
