Resafa

Resafa is a strategy board game that casts players as merchants trading across the Middle East of the 3rd century AD. Resafa was a fortified desert outpost on important caravan routes, and it had no local water, so it relied on large cisterns to collect the winter and spring rain. Players travel on business trips to buy and sell goods in the cities of the region, and build water tanks and canals to carry water where it is needed. In the cities they build workshops that bring in resources and camels, and gardens between them that generate more resources and victory points. The game lasts six rounds, and with only three actions per round played from action cards, every choice is tight. Available now at Boarding School Games - make the desert bloom.
