Players enter the nest with advanced equipment and strict objectives while facing an overwhelming alien horde. A reworked health system, expanded character actions, an item management track, and modular maps shape each mission. Exploration cards add uncertainty as the team pushes deeper into hostile territory, while individual objectives can introduce hidden traitors among the squad.
