Mezen

Mezen is a tile-puzzle board game in which you play a northern craftsman creating intricate ornamental paintings to order.

Mezen is a style of Russian folk painting that originated in the northern town of the same name. Each turn, choose a group of adjacent identical symbols, remove it from your painting and slide the tiles above down to fill the gap. The removed tiles are flipped to their other side and placed into the newly empty spots, changing the pattern as you work toward your goals. Complete goals to earn Victory Points, and the player with the most points after the 10th round wins. It plays with 1 to 5 players in about 30 minutes.
