Inkwell is a strategic board game that challenges players to illuminate a medieval codex with careful drafting, placement, and timing.

Players take colored ink cubes, gold leaf, and technique cards from a shared mat, fitting each choice onto their manuscript card. Instead of gathering supplies, a player can turn the page to score completed work, claim lasting abilities, and choose the next page of their codex. Emptying inkwells pushes the abbot closer to ending the game, so every turn balances patience against pressure. With wooden tokens, a premium cloth mat, golden foil touches, and historical manuscript-inspired art, Inkwell pairs approachable rules with thinky decisions for solo play or groups.
