Imperial is a strategy board game that casts 2 to 6 players as international investors steering six great powers of Europe in the age of imperialism. Each player grows their capital and buys influence in Austria-Hungary, Italy, France, Great Britain, the German Empire and Russia. Investors control each nation's politics as it builds factories, launches fleets and deploys armies. They watch their nations expand, wage wars, levy taxes and collect the proceeds. Because influence over every nation keeps shifting, new alliances and rivalries form again and again. There is no luck of dice or cards, so every result comes from the players' decisions.
