History of the World is a board game that lets empires rise and fall across seven eras from ancient Sumeria to the modern day.

Players expand, build, and conquer as over sixty historic peoples enter play through Empire and Event cards. You’ll place capitals, cities, monuments, and forts to claim regions, then watch rival armies reduce them as the map shifts from age to age. Control of lands and landmarks earns gold each era, and the player with the most gold at game end wins. This latest edition refines core systems with flexible “with or without dice” rules, revised card distribution, new Events, and fresh strategy via Area and Honor tokens.
