Five Cucumbers (2024)

Five Cucumbers (2024) is a trick-taking card game in which the goal is to avoid winning the last trick.

On your turn you have two choices: take over the trick by playing a high card, or discard your lowest card. Holding a low card back for the final trick is not enough, because you also need some high cards to take over the key tricks along the way. The game is a modern version of Agurk, a trick-taking game well known in Scandinavia, and the box carries a recommendation from designer Friedemann Friese.
