Cross Bronx Expressway is a standalone competitive city-building board game that explores urban development, public policy, and community survival in the South Bronx.

Set between 1940 and 2000, players control one of three asymmetric factions—Public, Private, or Community—each pursuing its own goals while trying to keep the borough viable. Play is driven by a shared event deck divided into decades, with players building infrastructure and organizations, forming coalitions, mitigating crises, and managing debt. The game combines competitive objectives with collective loss conditions, so every faction must balance self-interest against the risk of bankruptcy or losing too many vulnerable people. Designed for 1–3 players, including a full solitaire system, Cross Bronx Expressway plays in about 90–180 minutes. Available now at Boarding School Games—Shape the Bronx.
