China's War: 1937-1941 is a standalone COIN Series board wargame that examines the first five years of the Second Sino-Japanese War.
Players take command of one of four factions: the Japanese, the Government represented by the Guomindang, the Chinese Communist Party, or the Warlords. Across an area-movement map of China, factions build and maneuver forces, influence or control populations, extract resources, and pursue their own political and military objectives. A shared deck drives turn order, events, victory checks, and other key processes, giving the game the sharp asymmetry and shifting priorities the COIN system is known for. Rules for non-player factions support solitaire, 2-player, 3-player, and full 4-player games. Available now at Boarding School Games—Shape the resistance.
