This set brings the Desert Rats to the tabletop with infantry, support weapons, artillery, and Bren Carrier transports for battles across North Africa and beyond. The force represents the British 8th Army and its Commonwealth troops, suited for desert campaigns against Italian and German opposition. The box includes 36 plastic British 8th Army infantry, a metal 6-pdr anti-tank gun, a metal 25-pdr light artillery piece, a metal Vickers MMG team, a metal 3" medium mortar team, and 2 plastic Bren Carriers with metal 8th Army passengers. Assembly and painting instructions, stat cards, full-color decal sheets, vehicle damage markers, and plastic bases are included.
