War of the Ring: The Card Game - Fire and Swords is an expansion that brings new northern Middle-earth battlegrounds, factions, and scenarios to War of the Ring: The Card Game.

Journey to Erebor, the Grey Havens, Rhûn, and the Shire as the War in the North opens new fronts for both the Free Peoples and the Shadow. Fire and Swords adds Northmen, Easterlings, and Ruffians, along with Skirmishes that represent smaller settlements and fortifications such as Bree and the Fords of Isen. The expansion supports up to six players with adaptable scenarios for smaller groups, and it can also integrate with Against the Shadow for solo and cooperative play. A copy of War of the Ring: The Card Game is required to play. Designed by Ian Brody, it plays 1–6 players in 60+ minutes and is recommended for ages 13+.
