The book contains six adventures in which the Company is sent to serve—or watch—Saruman, Lord of Isengard and head of the White Council. The scenarios span from the year 2965 of the Third Age to the opening moves of the War of the Ring. They can be played individually or connected into a larger tale following Saruman’s growing influence and pride.
