Struggle of Empires: Deluxe is a deluxe strategy board game where you lead an 18th-century European power through alliances, colonization, and war to dominate key regions.

Across three major Wars, you’ll join one of two Grand Alliances, build armies and fleets, expand influence in Europe and overseas, and fight to place and protect your Control markers in contested regions. Each round gives you two core actions plus free actions, pushing you to balance military pressure with economic growth and political leverage. Gold keeps your engine running, but squeezing your nation through taxation fuels unrest—and too much unrest can trigger a collapse that wrecks your plans. The Deluxe Edition upgrades the presentation with new art, a large reimagined board, enhanced components, and a revised rulebook packed with clarifications and variant rules, including new variants by Martin Wallace.
