Root - Underworld Hirelings is an expansion pack that adds six Underworld-themed hirelings to make the Woodland feel fuller at any player count.

Hirelings introduce new pieces on the map in lower-player games, boosting interaction and tactical pressure without adding a full faction. In higher-player games, some hireling cards flip to reveal special abilities, opening up new strategic lines and surprising synergies. This pack includes three hireling pairs—Sunward Expedition & Mole Artisans, Corvid Spies & Raven Sentinels, and Furious Protector & Stoic Protector—so you can tailor the board to the matchup you want.
