Fort Sumter: The Secession Crisis, 1860-1861 is a two-player card-driven board game that turns the secession crisis before the American Civil War into a compact contest of political control.

One player leads the Unionist side while the other takes the Secessionist side, placing, moving, and removing political capital across twelve contested spaces. Strategy cards can be used for their event or value, forcing tight choices as each side fights for control of Political, Secession, Public Opinion, and Armaments dimensions. After three rounds, the game moves into a Final Crisis where saved cards and late maneuvers decide the outcome. With a 20–40 minute play time and a focused map, it delivers a sharp historical duel in a small footprint. Available now at Boarding School Games—Control the crisis.
