Instead of relying on static Hot Spot markers, Tragic Events turns the Advance Fire phase into a tense card draw that can surge the blaze, trigger sudden complications, and ramp up pressure as Flare Ups get added into the mix. Events introduce sharp twists that force your team to adapt on the fly, making every rescue feel less scripted and more like a living emergency. The box also adds three new Specialist roles—Strategist, Suppression Specialist, and Fire Prevention Specialist—giving your crew fresh tools for planning, controlling spread, and managing smoke and victims.
