A Gest of Robin Hood is a board wargame that delivers a tense two-player struggle of outlaw rebellion and feudal control in medieval England.
One player leads Robin Hood and the Merry Men, building support across Nottinghamshire through robbery, revolt, and hidden movement, while the other commands the Sheriff’s forces to restore order, collect taxes, and protect the roads. Play is asymmetric and tightly focused, with each side working toward very different goals while reacting to shifting events and uncertain information. Built as an approachable entry point to the COIN system, it keeps the decision space sharp without losing the push and pull of insurgency-style conflict.
This 2nd Printing is identical to the first printing except that known errata has been corrected, and it includes a mounted game board, cards, wooden pieces, player mats, player screens, dice, and rulebooks. Available now at Boarding School Games—outwit the Sheriff.
