Root - The Underworld Expansion is a board game expansion that adds two new factions and two new maps to deepen Root’s woodland war.

Take command of the Underground Duchy, an ancient kingdom pushing up from the Burrow with tunnels, ministers, and concentrated military force, or play the Corvid Conspiracy, laying hidden plots like raids, bombs, extortion, and snares to keep opponents guessing. The new Mountain Map challenges you to clear blocked routes and fight for control of the mountain pass, while the Lake Map introduces ferry travel to reposition and forge surprising connections across the board. These additions sharpen table politics and create new openings for negotiation, brinkmanship, and sudden reversals. Plays 2–6 players, ages 14+, in 90–120 minutes.
