Match of the Century is a standalone strategy board game that recreates the pressure and psychology of the 1972 World Chess Championship.
In the summer of 1972, Bobby Fischer challenged Boris Spassky in Reykjavik, turning the championship match into a Cold War spectacle. In this game, two players face off across a series of short, intense rounds instead of one long match. Each player uses an asymmetric deck to influence mental endurance, shape the outcome of each game, and decide when giving up the advantage is worth a stronger card effect. The result is a tight duel of timing, hand management, and calculated pressure. Designed for 2 players, ages 10 and up, with a 30–45 minute play time. Available now at Boarding School Games—Outplay your rival.
